Goddamn, this is ugly.
The story behind this is that I was applying for some freelance work, illustrating a calender for a medical company. They didn't want to pay the artist who usually draws their calender as much as he was asking. So I drew their character and showed it to them along with some of my other work. It was looking promising, they wanted to make sure that I could draw their character in an environment so they asked me to draw this and I did. However they decided today that signing a contract with a new artist was too much hassle and just paid their usual artist what he was asking. I didn't have any sort of contract with this company and I really don't trust them to understand copyright, so I'm making sure I have documentation that I had this image before they did in case they do something stupid. I shouldn't be allowed to type when I'm angry. |
