Here's a member of the alien species I'm fiddling around with. I was feeling very left out of the 'lets all make a monster species' trend and decided to try and bodily hurl myself under the bandwagon wheels and put together some kind of horrible beastie. (Wait... does this count as a bandwagon?)
I'm calling them Krieshrarian until I find out it means something or can think of a better name, I was trying to go for something vaguely Indian sounding. They run a very high metabolism that literally burns and use a liquid sodium compound as the base for their blood (as opposed to water). They're actually a very calm species, getting overly excited/angry/whatever can cause them to overheat themselves and pass out. Those big wing-hands are for climbing, they're evolved to be canyon dwellers. This one is a she. Also ignore the architecture, it is made of fail. The Krieshrarian are mine I suppose...
